Breakfast
It's said that breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Miss it out and your whole metabolism is kicked out of sync. And yet, so many people fail to eat a proper breakfast. For most of us there just isn't the time on a morning to sit down and eat it. Too many other things to do, getting kids ready for school, washing dishes, getting clothes ready, checking what we need for work, etc. So the breakfastb becomes a quick cup of coffee, gulped down at the last minute as we dash out of the door. Do yourself a favour. For the sake of your health, get up 15 minutes earlier and make the time for breakfast. It doesn't have to be much. A bowl of cereal takes about 30 seconds to prepare. And the variety available means there is something to suit everyone. Eating breakfast starts your metabolism running. Great if you're trying to lose weight. It sets you up for the day, reduces the cravings for mid morning snacks, and gets your body ready to face the day ahead. So if you're not taking the time to eat breakfast you're doing yourself a huge disservice. Get into the habit and pretty soon you'll feel the rewards. |
